The firm can trace its origins back to 1970 when one of founding firm’s partners set up in practice to cater for a thriving retail and wholesale business community. Over the years, as the clients started to grow their businesses by diversifying both domestically and internationally, the practice also expanded and grew along with its clients.

In 2009, K A Khokhar & Co, Moughal and Jackson & Co merged to become Khokhar, Moughal & Jackson LLP. The new merged firm also changed its status by converting to an LLP. The firm located to its current offices in the West End. The firm firmly believes that the merger has allowed it to strengthen the services to its clients.

In 2010, the firm added another office with an associated but separate independent firm in Manchester, AKC Limited, and from 1 April 2010, Khokhar Moughal & Jackson LLP is now known as KKMJ (UK) LLP. AKC Limited also changed its name to come under the name, KKMJ.

The partners believe its mergers and associations will provide significant benefit its clients by providing an increase in the breadth of services. The new enlarged firm has created a team geared toward assisting the needs of emerging and growth-oriented companies across the country.

KKMJ, is now a progressive and independent firm of tax advisers and chartered accountants with clients ranging from a turnover of £0.5m to over £100m that operate in the UK and Internationally.
